In this month's home inspection picture we see a common issue to find in an electric panel. As ou look at the middle breaker you will see there are two wires going into the same breaker, this is called a double tap. While this is not usually a "serious" issue, if the breaker is not designed for it the wires should each have their own breaker.
Seattle Home Inspections - I have been inspecting for quite some time, and it never ceases to amaze me how many home inspectors there are in Seattle Washington!
Many home inspectors get into the industry thinking that it will be easy, or that they can start a new venture in life. I truly enjoy inspecting home in Seattle because of the people I meet, the homes I inspect, and the opportunity to truly help people.
I often wonder when someone types in "Seattle Home Inspections" into Google what they think. How are you able to find the right Seattle home inspector? Well, here are a few tips:
First, talk to your prospective home inspector. Ask lots of questions and see how much he knows about home here in Seattle. Also, Check his credentials. Is he licensed by Washington State? Is he a member of InterNACHI? Then, see if your home inspector's personality is a good fit for you. It may seem strange to mention his personality, but it matters on site when you are on the home inspection with him, but it also matters in being able to have a home inspector that is comfortable telling you everything you need to know.
